About Me

Renew Health and Wellness Lisa Elder Headshot

Hi, I’m Lisa Elder, MSPT, and I’m passionate about helping people move, feel, and live better through a whole-person approach to physical therapy. I hold a B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training (2004) and a Master’s in Physical Therapy (2006), and I’ve spent the past two decades specializing in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, pelvic floor therapy, and women’s health and wellness.

My clinical focus is rooted in both evidence-based practice and a deep belief in the body’s innate ability to heal when given the right support. I’m a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist with advanced training in perinatal care and dry needling, including dry needling of the pelvic floor. I’m also a Certified Mental Wellness Coach and currently pursuing certification in Applied Functional Medicine through the School of Applied Functional Medicine, allowing me to treat patients through a truly integrative, multi-system lens.

I’ve always been fascinated by the interconnectedness of the human body—how physical, emotional, and environmental factors all influence our well-being. My treatment style is hands-on, holistic, and personalized, incorporating extensive manual therapy techniques alongside functional movement, lifestyle support, and education. Whether helping someone return to sport, navigate postpartum recovery, or overcome chronic pain, I consider it an honor to be part of each patient’s healing journey.

As a military spouse for over two decades—my husband served in the USAF for 24 years—I’ve had the privilege of practicing across several states and learning from incredible mentors and clinicians along the way. Though I’m originally from Georgia, our family recently made Colorado our home. We have two energetic boys, Gatlin and Hudson, who keep us busy with sports and outdoor adventures, and two lovable pups, Kirby (our Beagle) and Riley (our Golden Retriever). When we’re not working or at school, you’ll likely find us at the ball field or exploring the great outdoors.

Thank you for visiting—I look forward to meeting you and supporting your journey to renewed health and wellness.
